MP = Memorial Park. FL = "Froot" Loop. MBT = Mountain Bike Trails. JL = Jogging Loop.
Chest = Bench, Inclines, Declines, Butterflies, Incline Butterflies, + something fun

Obviously my working out started before 9/6/2007, but I didn't start capturing the data until I built this Web site. And I am not exactly sure what good the information is... unless it makes Dr. Josh feel guilty and "encourages" him to get into the gym...

Farm roads

Rained all night and all morning... rode the soggy dirt farm roads in the afternoon. Rolling hills... nothing too challenging... just some time in the saddle to exercise the legs, though the wet dirt did provide a little more rolling resistance than usual.

Again... with traveling, finding time to get into the gym is difficult (heck, finding a gym is difficult). Anyway... did about 45 minutes of weight lighting (chest, shoulders and arms), and ran for 45 minutes on the treadmill and a 1 minute cool down. 9 minute miles. The computer on the treadmill said I burned 700 calories while running.

  Finally found time and a hotel with a gym. Had a light workout, followed by a 40-minute run on the treadmill and a 3 minute cool down. 10 minute miles. The computer on the treadmill said I burned 485 calories while running.

Rode to the gym this morning at 4:30.... then rode home... but decided to do a little more riding, so I did some "urban-assault" mountain biking in the dark.

SUN, 9/30/2007 Wielded a chainsaw and other gasoline-powered implements of destruction for 5 hours cleaning trails for the Houston Land Rover Club. Exercise? You're damned right! What a workout!

I had to travel out of town, and at some point I caught a nasty stomach bug. Had to use energy to recover.
